Partial Road Closure at South Singleton Station Road
[Alcoa, Tenn.] – Southern Site Contractors informed the City of Alcoa of a partial road closure on South Singleton Station Road, scheduled for November 7 and 9. Beginning on South Singleton Station Road near Caldwell Lane, the road will taper into one lane for a sewer manhole installation.
This road closure is part of the State Industrial Access (SIA) project for Singleton Station and adjoining roads. The expected timeframe for the partial closure on November 7 is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the project lasting approximately eight (8) hours. The November 9 closure will last between 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. These times are subject to change depending on weather.
No detour route is in place as the road will continue to remain partially open. Motorists using this section of roadway should allow additional travel time and extra caution when traveling as workers and crews will be present.
