The City of Alcoa Public Works & Engineering Department has contracted the milling and resurfacing of Alcoa Rd., Lodge Street, Telford St., Carrel St., Singleton Station Rd. and Wrights Ferry Rd. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 2nd and should be completed by Monday, June 30th. Inclement weather or unforeseen conditions may extend this project.
Lane shifts during construction should be expected. Traffic Control will be used; however, there will be temporary lane closures for short periods of time.
Local residents and employees of businesses in the area should exercise caution while traveling through the construction zone. Motorists along this route should allow extra travel time to reach their destination.
