The City of Alcoa will make the following adjustments for the 4^th of July holiday:

Residential Solid Waste and Brush Collection:  

• July 4, no residential or brush collection. Friday will be collected on Thursday, July 3 with no change to Thursday’s collection routes.   

Recycling Collection:

• No changes.  Routes will be collected following the normal schedule.

Commercial / Industrial Collection:

• July 4, no commercial dumpster service.
• Remainder of the week will be collected following the normal schedule.

Alcoa / Maryville / Blount County Landfill:

• Friday, July 4, Closed.
• All other days open with regular operating hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4.30 p.m.
• Please call 995-2892 or 995-2998 for questions concerning the Landfill operations.
