Outage Update - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017
Much of today’s efforts have focused on replacing broken
poles, continuing to clear lines, and reinstalling wire. Updates on specific areas:
W. Hunt Rd / Northwood: Poles have been replaced along
back property lines closest to Hunt Rd.
This line should be energized this evening and service restored to all
customers except those who have work to be done on their household lines.
Springbrook: Also working primarily in rear yards, crews
have rebuilt the west Springbrook feeder along Ramsay St and also made repairs
in the east side of Springbrook. By
evening crews should have service restored on both sides of Wright Rd with the
exception of homes in the Mills St area.
East Millers Cove:
The main feed along E Millers Cove Rd has been repaired and service
restored to most customers except for Loop Rd and a few side lines.
Nails Creek Rd area:
Service restored to most customers with the exception of a few isolated
outages.
Ellejoy: Several
repairs made in the Adams Rd / Patterson Rd / Jeffries Hollow area. Sometime tonight service should be restored
on Country Lane.
Overlook area:
Rear property line work has slowed the progress but more outages should
be restored tomorrow.
About 600 customers remain without power.
W Hunt Rd was reopened to all traffic this
afternoon. However, traffic will be
hindered as other utilities continue to work in the area.
