The City of Alcoa Development Services Department was informed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) of an upcoming road closure set to start on February 10 as part of the ongoing TDOT Alcoa Highway Relocation Project for utilities installation. Cusick Road will be closed from N. Gate Road to Northpark Road, with a detour route in place. The work is expected to last one day dependent on weather.
The City of Alcoa advises motorists to allow additional travel time if using this route and to use extra caution when traveling through the area as workers will be present.
