DESCRIPTION:The City of Alcoa Police and Fire Departments are partnering t
 ogether to celebrate National Night Out and Fire Prevention Week and are 
 inviting all community members\, young and old\, to join them. The two de
 partments will host their annual Community Day at the New Midland Plaza S
 hopping Center  with fun\, food\, entertainment\, displays and family act
 ivities. \n \n \nThis is a completely free event for the public. \n \n \n
 National Night Out is a nationwide annual community-building campaign tha
 t: (1.) heightens crime\, drug and violence prevention awareness\; (2.) g
 enerates support for\, and participation in\, local anti-crime programs\;
  (3.) strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships\;
  (4.) sends a message to criminals letting them know the neighborhoods ar
