Personal Achievements

Commissioner Eddie Hall is a native of Blount County and lifelong resident of Alcoa. He is the oldest of four children born to Jim Hall and Gloria Martin, having grown up in the Springbrook community. He attended Alcoa City Schools and is a 1984 graduate of Alcoa High School. Mr. Hall is a four-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and received a certificate from the United States Labor Board as Journeyman Machinist/Fabricator from Alcoa Inc.

He has been married to Jill Hall since October 2004.   Jill is a 1982 graduate of Alcoa High School. They have three children, Chelsea, Caleb, and Jacob. All three children are Alcoa alumni and reside in Alcoa with the exception of Jacob who resides in Nashville. He has one grandson, Brooks, thanks to Caleb and his wife Elly.

Mr. Hall has had a diverse career ranging from working in route sales for nine years, the last five as a District Route supervisor at Mayfield Dairy Farms and continuing on at Alcoa Inc. for thirteen years where he started in the smelting department (pot rooms) and finished at the North Plant Machine shop. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Local 309 during his time at Alcoa. He has been employed at DENSO for the last ten years and works in Production Engineering where he oversees medium scale projects and is co-leader on large scale projects and automated line installations. 

Mr. Hall is a member of Alcoa first United Methodist Church.
