Deputy City Manager Job Opening

Position Information:

The City of Alcoa is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Deputy City Manager. Under the appointment and general direction of the City Manager, the Deputy City Manager serves as a member of the senior management team. The incumbent will perform complex administrative and professional work in assisting the City Manager in directing and supervising the operations of the Alcoa City Government.

In accordance with Governor Lee’s Executive Order No. 78 extending remote meetings by extending Executive Order NO. 71 to April 28, 2021, regarding limiting gatherings to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 and allowing public meetings to be conducted by electronic means, THESE MEETINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH BOARD MEMBERS PARTICIPATING ELECTRONICALLY via You Tube and can be viewed by members of the public at

Public comments prior to any City of Alcoa video teleconferenced (VTC) meeting may be submitted via email at
  • Please include your name and address for the record. The subject line should indicate the name of the meeting for which your comments apply, i.e. Board of Commissioners, ARPC (Alcoa Regional/Municipal Planning Commission), etc. 
  • All comments must be received by 12:00 p.m. noon the day of the meeting, unless otherwise publicly noticed, to be included in the record of the meeting.

  • Audio recordings of the meetings will be available for listening within 48 hours of the end of the meeting.
